Salt Lake City
Two more resorts, Solitude Mountain and Brighton, are located together between Park City and Salt Lake City, about seven miles from Park City. Sundance Film Festival
The Festival takes places during January at the Sundance Resort, in Park City, Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah. It is the largest independent film festival in the United States where new films are showcased every year.
The Sundance Mountain Resort is located 13 miles northeast of Provo, Utah. It spans over 5000 acres on the slopes of Mount Timpanogos in Utah's Wasatch Range. The resort was acquired by Actor Robert Redford in 1969 and was established into a year-round resort which would later spawned the independent Sundance Film Festival.
