Known for deep powder and superb terrain, Alta is a definite locals favorite, with inexpensive lift tickets and the option of a combined pass with adjacent Snowbird Ski Resort. Located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta delivers beautiful scenery and panoramic views from its slopes and the best snow Utah has to offer! Alta offers two ski-in ski-out restaurants and a rental shop. Snowboarding is not permitted here. Alta ski area has seven lifts and 116 trails from the summit at 10,500 ft to the base at 8,560 ft.
